Das BD 10R80 RoadMaster-Getriebe wurde für erhöhte Zuverlässigkeit und längere Lebensdauer entwickelt und ist das ideale Upgrade für serienmäßige oder leicht modifizierte Trucks. Es behebt die bekannten Schwächen des 10R80-Getriebes mit robusten Lösungen – insbesondere wird das bekannte Leck der CDF-Trommel durch eine Sicherungsvorrichtung behoben, die die interne Buchse vor Verschiebung und Blockierung der Ölwege schützt. Für präzise Schaltvorgänge und dauerhafte Leistung verfügt jedes Getriebe über ein eloxiertes Reaktionsgehäuse, das Verschleißprobleme der Kupplungszähne verhindert, und einen neuen OEM-Ventilkörper – modifiziert zur Verbesserung der Magnetventil-Haltekraft und Erhöhung des Leitungsdrucks um 30 %, was eine spürbar höhere Kupplungshaltekraft ermöglicht. Jedes Paket enthält den BD™ ProForce 10R80 Drehmomentwandler und eine Ölwanne mit großem Fassungsvermögen und tiefem Sumpf. Das größere Ölvolumen durch die tiefe Sumpfkonstruktion trägt dazu bei, die neuen OEM-Kupplungen und -Stahlscheiben kühler zu halten und so eine längere Lebensdauer im Vergleich zu Serienausstattungen zu gewährleisten.
