Das Ford 6R140-Getriebe regelt den Leitungsdruck zwischen 70 und 170 psi. Für Serienfahrzeuge ist dies ausreichend, jedoch kann es bei starker Beanspruchung und höheren Motorleistungen zu Problemen kommen. Der BD PressureLoc für das 6R140 ist ein Magnetventil, das den Leitungsdruck des Getriebes erhöht und so die Leistung maximiert. Dadurch kann das Getriebe höhere Motorleistungen bewältigen. Der BD PressureLoc ermöglicht einen Leitungsdruck von 250–300 psi, wodurch die Kupplungskraft deutlich gesteigert und Kupplungsschlupf sowie vorzeitiger Kupplungsverschleiß verhindert werden.
