Die fahrzeugspezifischen (VS) 2.5 Aluminium-Stoßdämpfer von ICON wurden entwickelt und gefertigt, um Ihrem Fahrzeug herausragende Offroad-Performance und gleichzeitig hohen Fahrkomfort auf der Straße zu bieten. Diese Stoßdämpfer sind hinsichtlich Länge und Dämpfungsabstimmung speziell auf den jeweiligen Anwendungsfall abgestimmt. Wie alle Stoßdämpfer von ICON sind auch die der 2.5 Aluminium-Serie vollständig überhol- und neu einstellbar. Bei Piggyback-Systemen und bestimmten Anwendungen mit externem Ausgleichsbehälter erzeugt die einzigartige Verwendung eines 6061-Billet-Aluminium-Verteilers wenige Zentimeter unterhalb der oberen Kappe des Stoßdämpfers eine interne Druckzone. Diese sorgt bei Aktivierung für zusätzliche 20 % Dämpfungskraft. Dadurch werden harte Durchschläge verhindert und die Federung bei hoher Kompressionsgeschwindigkeit kontrolliert. Für eine individuellere Abstimmung empfiehlt sich das Kompressionsdämpfungsregelventil (CDCV).
