Air Lift 1000
Up to 1,000 lbPolyurethane helper spring for compatible rear-coil applications and lighter variable loads.
- Compact and affordable
- Less headroom than LoadLifter
TRM Tow & Load Lab
Find the right truck air bag suspension kit, then choose manual, in-cab or wireless air management—without confusing trailer weight with the load your truck actually carries.
Air spring + onboard air finder
First: choose the spring that supports the job. Then: choose how to inflate it. A compressor, remote or tank changes convenience—not legal payload.

Air Lift LoadLifter comparison
The number is load-leveling capacity—not permission to exceed the truck’s ratings. Application and construction matter as much as the headline.
Polyurethane helper spring for compatible rear-coil applications and lighter variable loads.
Heavier-duty insert for supported applications such as specific Ram 1500 rear-coil setups.
Value benchmark for many 1/2-, 3/4- and 1-ton leaf-spring trucks.
Adds an internal jounce bumper with progressive, three-stage support.
Ultimate construction plus stainless hardware, braided lines and AN-style fittings.
Seven-inch bellows for supported 3/4- and 1-ton trucks, with up to 20% more volume than 5000.

the exact application fits and actual payload or hitch load sits inside every vehicle rating.
a supported heavy-duty truck carries severe pin, camper or commercial load frequently.
WirelessAir, WirelessOne and tank systems
Wireless removes cab airlines. Dual path lets you set left and right separately.

Schrader valves, external compressor and gauge.
Best for occasional loads.In-cab gauge and switch; single or dual path.
More cab plumbing.Single path, remote + app and three presets.
Best for balanced loads.Dual path, remote + app, independent sides and presets.
Best for uneven loads.Dual-path wireless control with heavy-duty compressor.
Preassembled EZ Mount; Air Lift says up to one hour less install time.

Faster bag inflation and a hose for tires or gear. No extra load capacity.
Guide-only / special-order path at TRM.Air bag pressure
Connect the trailer or load the truck exactly as it will travel.
Record unloaded height, then the loaded squat on level ground.
Increase pressure until the truck returns to target ride height.
Stay inside the exact kit’s minimum/maximum and every vehicle rating.
Sag, bottoming, reduced bump travel and poor headlight aim.
Harsh ride, reduced travel, added stress and potentially less traction.
Truck air bag suspension buying guide
A truck air bag suspension kit is an adjustable helper spring. It works with the factory spring to restore loaded ride height, reduce squat and bottoming, and improve control when the truck carries payload or hitch weight. It does not turn a half-ton into a three-quarter-ton.
Start with exact vehicle fitment. Brackets can change by year, drivetrain, single- or dual-rear-wheel axle, factory air suspension, cab-and-chassis configuration and special trim. A fifth-wheel or gooseneck hitch can occupy the same frame area.
Then calculate weight carried by the truck. For a travel trailer this is tongue weight plus hitch, passengers and cargo—not total trailer weight. For a fifth-wheel use actual loaded pin weight. Compare axle and vehicle weights with the door-jamb label.
Choose onboard air by frequency. Manual valves are economical. WirelessOne is single path for balanced loads. WirelessAir is dual path for independent left/right control. A two-gallon tank adds stored air and an accessory hose; it does not make a 5,000-lb spring a 7,500-lb spring.
