AMP Research/RealTruck’s installation guide for MPN 96235-01A identifies a 2017–2019 Ford Super Duty SuperCrew application with 85-inch boards. F-450 is not included in this listing because the current ACES data does not substantiate it.

Professional installation recommended: the official guide estimates 2–3 hours and skill level 4 (experienced). The kit carries a 5-year limited warranty.

PowerStep Vision

AMP Research PowerStep Vision combines automatic power-retracting running boards with full-length LED edge lighting. The steps deploy when a door opens and retract out of sight when closed. The Smart Series app controls step and lighting functions on iOS and Android. Corrosion-resistant aluminum construction, a 6-inch-wide slip-resistant surface and vehicle-specific plug-and-play integration are designed for daily use; the current manufacturer page rates the system at up to 300 lb per door.
